Peter Cairns is an experienced and passionate speaker with over 10 years under his belt as a professional nature and conservation photographer.
He is a knowledgeable naturalist, but his primary interest lies in the relationship between people and the natural world, a relationship that is often extreme and always fickle. Peter's extensive travels and almost obsessive curiosity, make him ideally placed to offer fresh and balanced insights into how nature shapes us, and crucially, how we shape it. Peter has presented at several premier international photography and conservation events and regularly delivers more intimate workshops on subjects as diverse as ecotourism and species reintroductions.

“The AV presentation you gave on the 17.09.12 at Derby City Photographic Club was the best I've seen. FANTASTIC ... I would love to see that AV again, absolutely brilliant.”
“Your illustrated talk was truly brilliant. For a couple of hours I was utterly spellbound cast away on a journey through light, sound and colour.”
“Thank you so much for a wonderful evening in your company. Exquisite photography and a wonderful message. Your photographs were an inspiration to me and I must try and emulate some of those amazing ring lit shots. Absolutely stunning.”
