Highland Raptors
The definitive raptor shoots amidst the grandeur of the Cairngorms National Park
A unique and rare opportunity to spend two full days photographing some of northern Europe's most charismatic raptors both in flight and perched in authentic natural settings. Using a professional falconer and trained birds, we will be able to photograph species such as Golden Eagle, goshawk, peregrine falcon and kestrel as they fly amidst the wild landscape of the Scottish Highlands. We will fly the birds in appropriate habitat to allow us to capture natural-looking and spectacular pictures that would be almost impossible to achieve with wild birds without months of work.
With luck we will be fortunate to have some perfect winter backdrops of snow-covered moorland and mountain. Guidance and tuition on how to get the best from each situation will be available throughout as and when required. You can expect a packed weekend of great photography, great company and great food in the beautiful winter surroundings of the Cairngorms National Park.
