Just imagine...a secluded forest shrouded in mist revealing the ghostly silhouette of a majestic red deer stag.

Just imagine...tendrils of sunlight stretching earthwards and bathing a wild Hebridean beach in golden light.

Just imagine...thousands of chattering seabirds deluging your senses in a cacophonous riot.

When I first visited Scotland 20 years ago I was entranced by the hills, the forests, the light. I still am. Seeing a golden eagle gliding across a snow-encrusted landscape; watching a pine marten forage through ancient pines; having a red squirrel sit on my head – these are all experiences that will stay with me forever.

I still imagine. I imagine images that I’ve not yet captured; events that I’ve yet to witness; places I've yet to visit. It’s good to just imagine. It's also good to share.

Sharing experiences and passing on knowledge that has been built on hours, days, months, years spent in the field, is the foundation for our photo-tours which from humble beginnings, now extend beyond Scotland to several carefully selected overseas locations.

Our unique blend of photography experiences, now entering their second decade, have established a deserved reputation. Our 85% level of repeat business speaks for itself.

From our spectacular home base in the heart of Scotland’s Cairngorms National Park, it has always been our aim to provide a true photographic adventure in friendly, informal surroundings, combining superb opportunities with hands-on learning for both beginner and expert alike. Our small team of guides are amongst the best in the business - you will find them knowledgeable, attentive and importantly, great company!

If you enjoy spending time in wild places, photographing at the best time of the day or in the best season, enjoying the company of like-minded colleagues, then you should perhaps think about joining us on one of our photo tours ... either here in Scotland or perhaps further afield. In the meantime, let your imagination run riot.

Best regards

Ps. I read the other day that 50% of people living in England had never visited Scotland. Here’s a reminder of why we work here and what we have to share with our guests.
