August- Giants Causeway, Co. Antrim
I've got to say, there's a bit of an irony going on here. Against a backdrop of intense office work over the last few months, there's barely been time to take any pictures. After a recent mad dash to the northern tip of County Antrim, I spent a fantastic couple of hours shooting the magnificent Giants Causeway in the gathering gloom of nightfall. Remarkably for such a tourist hotspot, not another soul was seen; just me and the rhythmic raw of the waves. I was shooting the Causeway for 2020VISION, a young but developing project about which there is justifiably much excitement. And the irony? 2020VISION gave me the chance for my two-hour spiritual fix in Northern Ireland, but is also responsible for holding me hostage in the office. You can't have your cake and eat it.
