Television productions
We are often asked to assist with research, fieldwork and on-screen interviews for TV documentaries and environmental news features. Why? Because we have over 15 years of local field experience equipping us to assist Production Units working in the Cairngorms National Park and/or the wider Highlands. These are the services we can provide:
- Hides and guiding for filming many of the principal Scottish wildlife species such as red squirrel, crested tit, red deer, ptarmigan, mountain hare etc.
- Fieldwork consultancy: assisting with developing narrative, identifying appropriate contributors and filming locations.
- Film footage: A wide range of rights-managed HD clips (including timelapse sequences) available from stock to supplement narrative-based films.
- Stills imagery from our library of over 25,000 images of Scottish wildlife, landscapes and land management regimes.
- Interviews: Peter Cairns has photographed and written about many contemporary wildlife and land use issues in Scotland and is well placed to provide insightful and informed interviews on a range of topics from ecotourism to species reintroductions…and a few things in between.
